For the second time in the last three years, OMET has won the “Label Award for Continuous Innovation,” which is sponsored by Tarsus, the company which also organizes the different editions of Labelexpo and publishes Labels & Labeling magazine. OMET was chosen from among a wide selection of participating companies after a careful analysis of strict requirements: the innovation capacity of the company, its significant contribution to the sector technological development, the company ethics, the experience, the care for staff training.
The choice was made by a jury composed of industry experts, guided by John Hickey former president of the Tag & Label Mfrs. Inst., and composed of Andy Thomas, group managing editor of Labels & Labeling; Tony White, editor of NarroWebTech magazine; Jack Kenny, editor of Label & Narrow Web magazine; and Andrea Vimercati, president of FINAT, the worldwide association for manufacturers of self-adhesive labels and related products and services.
