Thanks to an eight-colour ink set, the GS6000 is claimed to provide a wide colour gamut and enables print businesses to produce durable prints and photo-realistic colours across an increased range of indoor and outdoor graphic applications.
Job turnaround times are said to be reduced thanks to claimed print speeds of up to 25.2m2/hour using Epson's variable-sized ink droplet and Microweave half-toning, together with claimed fast drying for scratch-resistant prints that are water and UV resistant for up to 1.5 years without lamination.
The company added that by using the eight-colour Ultrachrome GS ink set, which is available in 950ml cartridges, the GS6000 allows printers to extend their creativity and services into high-end applications, including airport and exhibition graphics, signage, and photographic or fine-art reproduction.
