　　2006年1月，拉尔夫•佩尼被任命为全美印刷、出版和纸品加工技术供应商协会（NPES）和美国印艺展览公司（GASC）总裁。他在协会管理、营销和制造领域拥有27年的工作经验。

　　NPES有500多个会员，会员研发、生产或供应涉及印刷、出版和包装行业的设备、器材以及软件。

　　GASC是专业展览管理公司，举办北美规模最大的两个印刷展——GRAPH EXPO展和PRINT展。2008年，GRAPH EXPO展被《专业展览周刊》评选为该年度成长最快的展览之一，而PRINT展已跻身于全美最大的二十个展览之列。

　　在加入NPES 和GASC之前，佩尼在美国机械工具销售商协会（AMTDA）任职19年，并从1993年到2005年担任该协会总裁。该协会由机械工具行业中的制造商、销售商和进口商组成。
除了在NPES和GASC任职，佩尼同时担任印刷教育研究基金会的总裁。该基金会旨在为印刷传播业培养新的劳动力。佩尼还是“教育峰会”成员。“教育峰会”是一个活跃的团体，由高级管理人员组成，致力于为印艺学术界提供协调和帮助。佩尼还担任纽约大学印刷传播管理与技术项目顾问委员会委员一职。

　　2008年10月，佩尼被印刷领导者协会（NAPL）中著名的Walter E. Soderstrom俱乐部吸收为成员。

　　目前，佩尼是小型企业立法委员会和美国制造商协会的董事会成员，还是美国商会“协会百人委员会”的成员，该委员会由美国主要行业协会的CEO组成。

　　The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies　and　Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC)

　　Ralph J. Nappi, CAE was named President of NPES and GASC in January, 2006.  He brings over 27 years' of experience in association management, distribution and manufacturing to these roles.

　　NPES is an association serving over 500 companies that develop and manufacture equipment, software and supplies used in virtually every printing, publishing, and packaging process.

　　GASC is a trade show management organization responsible for producing the largest printing industry trade shows in North America – including GRAPH EXPO and PRINT.   Graph Expo was named by Trade Show Week as one of the fastest growing trade shows in 2008 and PRINT is noted as one of the 20 largest shows in the US. 

　　Prior to joining NPES and GASC, Nappi worked for 19 years at the American Machine Tool Distributors’ Association (AMTDA) serving as its President from 1993 to 2005.  AMTDA represents manufacturers, distributors and importers of machine tools and manufacturing technology. 

　　In addition to his roles with NPES and GASC Nappi serves as president of the Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation (GAERF).   This foundation’s mission is to develop the next generation workforce for the graphic communications industry.   Nappi is also a member of the Education Summit which is an active group of leaders committed to coordinating the efforts of the many groups that serve and assist graphic arts academia.

　　Nappi also sits on the Advisory Board for the New York University Graphic Communications Management and Technology Program.

　　In October of 2008 Nappi was inducted into NAPL’s prestigious Walter E. Soderstrom Society which recognizes leaders in the graphics industry.   

　　Nappi currently serves on the boards of the Small Business Legislative Council and the National Association of Manufacturers’ Associations Council and is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce “Association Committee of 100,” which is comprised of the country’s leading trade association CEO's.
