Canon will showcase its Imagepress colour and monochrome presses at this year's Ipex exhibition, to take place 18-25 May at the NEC, Birmingham.

The Imagerunner Advance Pro series of light production engines will make their European debut at the event.

Canon claims the Imagerunner printers offer an affordable and scalable point of entry to the benefits of digital production.

The company will also show its Imageprograf printers, which are suitable for commercial printers and corporate reprographic departments looking to move into large-format applications such as graphics and signage.

All devices will be connected to a production, services and support hub.

Canon will also run the 'Canon Path to Profit' at the event, which will guide users along the digital print value chain towards the services and applications that will help to differentiate themselves from competitors.

Canon will also offer structured business support and advice to Ipex 2010 visitors, with a timetable of short but essential business-builder workshops.
