GI Direct has been appointed to the Welsh assembly's printing services framework contract, which covers specialist direct mailing and bespoke printing requirements.

　　These requirements include on-piece mailers, inserts, door drops and mail packs, with services required on a call-off basis.

　　The agreement also includes digital printing and finishing.

　　The contract is said to be worth GBP6m-GBP10m a year, and the three-year framework agreement includes the option to extend the arrangement for an additional year.

　　A total of 28 suppliers have been appointed to the framework, with six pre-approved suppliers within the 'lot' in which GI was successful.
