Empire launches free customer film magazine

  Empire Cinemas has launched Escape - a free customer magazine to be distributed in its multiplexes nationwide.

  The 36pp title will be issued bi-monthly from cinema foyers and features film news, behind the scenes gossip, competitions and interviews with movie stars.

  Jon Nutton, marketing manager at Empire Cinemas, said: "We wanted to launch a magazine for our customers that would act as an informative guide about what’s currently showing, what’s new and what films they should look out for."

  Escape will be produced by Summersault Communications, a leading employee and customer communication specialist, and printed by Telford-based printer Precision Colour Printing (PCP).

  Summersault managing director Gail Franks said: "This is an exciting project. The magazine will not only cover the entertaining world of cinema, but will also let its readers know about promotions that Empire Cinemas is currently running including meal deals and other special offers."

  Empire launched its Empire Cinemas Film Card in October last year.
