HELL Gravure Systems will be demonstrating the latest developments in flexographic and gravure form manufacture at GEC, Milan, June 6-10, at Stand C02, Hall 14/1. These will include the new HelioXtreme engraving method, which is unique worldwide.

HelioXtreme is a new way of producing gravure forms, which overcomes the restrictions of conventional engraving. Using HelioXtreme, the HelioKlischograph is now able to support a higher write resolution than the selected screen definition. In principle, the engraver functions like a lasersetter and achieves high contour definition and high print densities. HelioXtreme also gives users the potential to generate both conventional and FM screens. It can also provide contours with outlines. For all users who are unable to experience this "revolution in cylinder engraving" personally, HELL will soon be introducing a special information zone devoted to Xtreme Engraving at www.HELL-Gravure-Systems.com. This will keep users up-to-date on the very latest developments and applications for this new technology.

HELL will also be providing a further highlight at the GEC by demonstrating its High Quality Hinting software. This new tool offers significantly improved print results for text and fine elements and can be used for both publication and packaging gravure. Output of the engraving data will be demonstrated live on a HelioKlischograph K500.
