Digital colour press for quality financial print

  Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) will supply its Bizhub Press C8000 colour digital press to Colourfast.

  The Konica Minolta Bizhub C8000 which will be installed at Colourfast to digitally print in colour financial sector literature.


  Colourfast already uses a range of Konica Minolta systems, including the Bizhub Pro C6501e colour press with Creo print controller and Bizhub Pro 1200 mono presses using its JTMan software.

  With a print speed of up to 80 pages per minute the Bizhub C8000 will be used by Colourfast to output high quality colour documentation for customers in the financial sector.

  Colourfast specialises in producing reports for annual general meetings, prospectus documents for Initial Public Offerings, and shareholder statements, for example.

  Colourfast has moved to digital output for this important financial colour work because of easier operation, reliability and consistency.

  Digital print requires fewer resources, and generates cost savings for better output.

  Colourfast selected the Bizhub C8000 for its image consistency, definition and quality.

  The Bizhub C8000 will be used mainly for overnight output on time and mission critical work.

  The system supplied to Colourfast will have an online booklet finisher and an EFI Fiery print controller.

  The output has the matt finish that is really comparable to litho production, with an excellent colour gamut that is consistent over long print runs.
